In-Kind Donation Policy

To our donors:

Anthony House will gladly accept donations of clothing, non perishable food and other items for the program to utilize.  These donations will be used within our programs, given away to residents and consumers of our services who are in need or sold to bring in revenue for Anthony House.

Anthony House has a limited amount of storage space as every room is being used to provide vital programs and services, including sheltering our consumers, providing counseling, conducting support groups, vocational training and more.  Please understand we are unable to store donated items for long periods of time and only seek items that our consumers can utilize immediately or that require little storage space.  We also ask that the clothing donated be clean and free of stains.

To make a donation, please contact:

Anthony House at:  352-383-9242

When you call, you will receive information about what items we can use and how we may utilize them. We may choose to refuse items based on the lack of need and/or space or condition of the items at that time. For items that are accepted, you will be given a receipt detailing the items that you have donated signed by the staff person accepting those donations.  This receipt may be used for your tax purposes and contains all necessary information.

Thank you for your support.
