For more than 25 years Anthony House, has operated as a homeless shelter and been a service provider to Central Florida’s homeless population. However, due to financial hardship, Anthony House, Inc. and its board of directors made a hard decision to cease operations as a homeless shelter and service provider in March, 2009. Understanding the vital need for homeless housing and services in Central Florida, LifeStream approached the Anthony House board of directors to begin a plan to reopen the facility. In 2010, LifeStream and its wholly owned subsidiary, Housing Solutions of Lake County, Inc, completed a merge with and into Anthony House.
